If there is one thing Minxy detests is FLAKES ! FLAKE is not a word in the British dictionary, and Minx has never been called a FLAKE.
I know we are all guilty of flaking to some degree. But some people take it to a whole new level. One where they think that you are psychic. Example – that them not answering their phone = not going.
Case and point. I sat in my party dress recently, only to get a last minute TEXT to say “too tired, go without me, have fun” ??!! W.T.F. The correct thing to do is to inform the other party, you can not commit to it – EASY ? But most don’t seem to consider their behaviour as rude or inconsiderate.
I know I can’t change the World, but please give someone the respect of a heads up – wouldn’t you like the same in return.
TREAT OTHERS HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED ! its all about following through.

Unfortunately Minx, that is L.A. pseudo-etiquette, which is none at all. I have also gotten the last minute text cancellation, which you would think might come from an acquaintance, but sadly, people you thought were friends do it as well. Some just don’t get the idea that their word is their bond. Let’s educate them, one hapless L.A. resident at a time!! Text cancellations are rude, crude and socially unacceptable.
