Anyone want to make a derogetory comment about Chihuahuas to Mickey Rourke ? yep, did’nt think so….scardy cats.

During Mickey Rourke’s, acceptance speech for Best Actor at the Golden Globes – he gives a shout out to his fur pack.

“I’d like to thank all my dogs, the ones who are here and the ones who aren’t here anymore.

“Sometimes, when a man is alone, that’s all you got is your dog. And they’ve meant the world to me.

Another nod to his pups Mickster is quoted as saying  =

“I sort of self-destructed and everything came out about fourteen years ago or so…the wife had left, the career was over, the money was not an ounce,” he said. “The dogs were there when no one else was there.”

Next time some guy makes a mean comment about my Chihuahuas like ” hey, lady, nice rats” I will send Mickey, as the Wrestler, to sort them out…..

Sad news to report – # 1 Bitch Loki, the Chihuahua, even referring to Loki as “love of his life” at the Venice Film Festival, died in Mickey arms this week, she was 18.

The Oscars are this weekend, lets hope our boy Mick wins, as I just know he will mention his lil Loki

UPDATE 2/23/09 : Mickster did not win, but sported a necklace with Loki’s picture on it, and gave her plenty of shout outs. If she had of made it, reports quote Rourke as saying “she would of been his Oscar Date”
