 TRINA  DOLENZ – THE PRESENT, AND WHAT SHE GOT UP HER SLEEVE ?

Trina is back in front of the camera ! After years developing, and managing others careers.

Its her chance to steal the spotlight again !

Trina Dolenz is a T.V Couples Therapist, currently appearing on VH1′s Tool Academy. On the show its up to Trina to decide which” Tool” should continue at the Tool Academy, or be expelled. Contestants are under the impression they are going to compete for the title of “MR AWESSOME”. Soon it revealed that their long suffering girlfriends, believe Tool Academy is their last resort, for these bad boyfriends, collectively named “Tools”.Contestants compete for Grand Prize of $100,00o.

I loved her on the show. Her posh British accent makes you want to listen. Her advice, observations and insights, are always spot on.

I believe she found her niche as a Therapist, as in person, she is SO easy to talk to.

 

UPCOMING SEASON 2 of  VH1′s Tool Academy

Begins shooting in June, and with an estimated air date around August/September. Trina is on board again, as the Resident Couples Therapist.

Currently working on a Couples Therapy book, which Trina describes as a “How To” type manual for couples. A workbook, that  will be like a easy to understand a follow. I have put my order in, for an advance copy  !- just in case I snaggle a man, and he gives me any grief…..

Workshops, retreats, and so much more will follow.

 If she can find some time – A upcoming trip to visit her eldest Daughter Charlotte( born 81″). Currently working with the Clinton Foundation HIV Initiative Program in Papua, Indonesia.  Forsaking the ( non existent there  ! gasp ) Four Seasons, ( Trina shared there is nowhere for miles with running water, gasp ! )  for a hut, with no running water.  “Roughing it” and no frills trips such as camping, and backpacking in remote areas, are surprising choices for such a poised and refined lady. Trina confesses “she just loves it ” Bringing a new meaning to “get away from it all”.

Multi-faceted is a adjective that comes to mind when describing Trina.

Currently single, but receiving quite a bit of “fan mail” from male admirers around the Country. I enquire would she date a younger man ? “Absolutely, I already have, ( Trina, you Saucy Minx you ! ) . So, there is hope for you if you are a fan, wink.  But, remember boys, Trina is a Refined Upper Crust English Lady, so I will speak on behalf of Trina by assuming “no tools” or those seeking a “Mommy”, thank you very much !

Molly, as pictured, is Trina’s Chihuahua, and tells me she would like to be the only baby !

 

 As I drove away from Trina’s lovely home, I felt inspired by her. It was so refreshing to meet someone, so accomplished, yet so warm, authentic, and unaffected.

I predict we will be seeing a lot more of Trina Dolenz.

Lets give a raise our Gin & Tonics ( a popular Brit drink )  to Trina Dolenz for bringing relationship sensibility, humility, a lovely British accent. You just can’t help sitting up straight, elbows off table, and listening to what she has to say.
